London Fashion Week’s best beauty looks for SS17

We might have to wait a while until we can fully embrace the SS17 trends from London Fashion Week, but one area we can get a head start on is the beauty.
Bringing us a whole array of exciting new lip, hair, eye and nail trends, there were looks across the spectrum from natural, pared-back skin to amped up eyes and curls let loose.

Here, we’ve handpicked 7 of our favourite beauty looks from LFW which we predict will be big in 2017.

taka

The trend: Relaxed glamour at Tata Naka
Fresh skin and rich looking bronze tones were perfectly complemented by effortless hair inspired by Jackie O. Dust down your hot brushes for spring.

fashion-east
The trend: Mirror ball nails at Fashion East
Sleek, minimalistic nails made a stellar impact. Lead Nail Technician Ami Streets added a touch of ORLY Tiara, silver glitter over an opaque white to give the nail extra texture.

house-of-holl

The trend: Rustic glow at House of Holland
We’ll be ditching deeper tans for a healthy, outdoorsy glow as seen at House of Holland. Think journeying in the sunshine and carefree hair. Fake it with St Tropez’s 3 in 1 Instant Bronzer dusted on the cheek bones, collar bones and shoulders.

braids
The trend: Mystical braids at Ekaterina Kukhareva
Braids are going nowhere, but for 2017, they’re looking to the gods for inspiration. Part mermaid, part greek mythology, Efi Davies, International Artistic Director for TONI&GUY kept the look modern by weaving coloured fabric through the braids.

topshop
The trend: Glossy eyes at Topshop
Girl of the moment Taylor Hill worked Topshop’s dusty burgundy eyeshadow with a glossy top coat. If the shade isn’t for you, skip the colour and try out the gloss alone.

mary-katrantzou
The trend: Acid bright lips at Mary Katrantzou
Dubbed ‘pop’ lips, MAC created three shades in pink, orange and red. Skin was kept bare, eyebrows brushed and hair simple.

pink-nails
The trend: Shell pink nails at Emilio de la Morena
At Emilio de la Morena SS17, natural nails were given an extra element by Lead Nail Technician Ami Streets with dual-textured nails. The shade of choice? ORLY’s soft shell pink Lift The Veil.
