Cute and convenient, these all-natural protein balls are the perfect healthy snack for a guilt-free – and tasty – energy hit.
Supermarket bought snacks and bars are way over-priced and can contain scary amounts of sugar. So why not make your own power snacks? Whether you’re looking for a post workout boost or an indulgent treat to satisfy your sweet tooth, these little beauties are a doddle to make and can be thrown together in under ten minutes.
Ingredients:
1 cup dates
1 cup walnuts
½ cup coconut flakes
½ cup sesame seeds
Method:
Blend dates & walnuts for 1 minute.
Add coconut flakes & ½ the sesame seeds. Blend for 1 minute.
Scoop out the mixture and roll by hand into small balls. Use the remaining sesame seeds to coat.
Chill in the fridge for 30 mins – then get munching!
You can keep your balls in the fridge for up to two weeks. Enjoy!
