One of the UK’s most popular book festivals, this year’s nine-day event will be the biggest yet with 170 talks, question and answer sessions, workshops and performances for both adults and children. The 2018 line-up includes bestselling authors Kate Mosse, Sebastian Faulks, Anthony Horowitz, Irvine Welsh and Louis de Bernieres, much-loved children’s authors Judith Kerr and Michael Morpurgo plus special guests such as Fearne Cotton, columnists Bryony Gordon and Lucy Mangan, Everyday Sexism founder Laura Bates, comedienne Pam Ayres and award-winning podcaster and author Emma Gannon. Venues include the riverside ballroom, the UK’s fourth oldest theatre and a boat on the Thames.
