Is Maple Water The New Coconut Water?

Calling all coconut water obsessives! There’s a brand new health water set to take over the current coconut water trend that even has the Beyoncé official seal of approval, so it must be amazing, right?

Coconut water meet your new competitor as Maple Water is predicted to be one of the biggest health-water trends this summer! Even health experts agree the new launch will give coconut water a real run for its money, as people that have already tried Maple Water are huge fans of its subtle sweet taste and impressed by its endless health benefits and being naturally very low in sugar.
Although this seems to be a new trend in health drinks its interesting to know that Native American and North American explorers have actually been drinking maple water for hundreds of years, its taken this long for it to become a fully fledged bottled drink sold across the world- we think its been worth the wait though, we can’t get enough of the stuff!

Maple Water is a health drink made of raw sap from sugar maple trees and packed full of antioxidants. The new drink is a cocktail of over 46 bioactive compounds, vitamins, minerals, organic and amino acids, polyphenols and phytohormones. Maple water provides a real antioxidant boost, better and more effective than those found in tomatoes!

Production of maple water is very dependant on weather conditions and because of this maple trees are only harvested during the springtime. It’s a very simple process; sap is taken from the tree and carefully kept below 40 degrees to protect its goodness. Its then taken to the production plant and bottled! Maple sap is the only ingredient inside Maple Water and absolutely no nasties are added.

-Natural hydration- clear, natural and refreshing with just a hint of delicious maple

After trying both we are definitely loving Maple Water more than Coconut Water in terms of a stand alone drink to enjoy on its own as it really is tasty and doesn’t have that strange after taste that coconut water tends to have. However, having said that would still opt for coconut water when adding to juices and smoothies for its more fruit based taste. The endless health benefits and naturally low sugar content makes Maple Water an absolute winner! So there you have it, a complete low-down of the trendy new water!
